Certification Program: Two Simple Components
1. Complete the five basic weekend workshops in the Advanced Myofascial Techniques series:
- Shoulder Girdle & Arm
- Pelvis & Sacrum
- Legs, Knees & Feet
- Neck, Jaw & Head
- Spine & Lower Back

2. Meanwhile, earn two Elective Credits for Certification.
In Person and
At-a-Distance options available. Choose from any of the following, combined in
any order, at any time. Examples of ways to earn Elective CEUÕs
include:
- Advanced
and Specialty Workshops: each day of workshop = 1 credit
- Repeating Part I or II of any Basic workshop
: each day = .5 credit
- Individual or small group Client Supervision: each session =
.5 credit
- Receiving a private Myofascial Session from an Instructor or Approved Assistant: each session = .5 credit
(max. of 1 credit)
- Myofascial
Study/Review Groups (in-person or teleconferenced): each 3-4 hour group = .5 credit
- Individual
Project Option. Examples include: Video
Supervision, ÒFor CreditÓ DVD Study, Service or Research Projects, Writing
for Publication, etc.: 0.5- 1.0 credit (max. of 1 credit)

Prerequisites,
Renewal, & Deadlines
- Prerequisites:
- Before admittance into the certification
program, you must complete Parts I and II of at least one of the five Basic Workshops in the Advanced
Myofascial Techniques series; and,
- By the end of your certification program, you
must be a graduate of an accredited or recognized body therapy school or
program. Contact us if you have questions.
- Renewal is accomplished automatically by earning at
least one Elective Credit every four years. There is no separate fee for
renewal apart from normal cost of CE option chosen.
- Completion
Period: there is
no deadline for completion once you are accepted into the Certification
Program.
Terms and Conditions
- Certified Practitioners agree to our Code of Ethics and to maintain
high standards of professionalism.
- The Advanced Myofascial Certification
Program is administered and accredited through Advanced-Trainings.com,
and is not associated with the Rolf Institute¨ or with Rolfing¨ structural
integration. Participants
agree to the following: ÒI understand that while individual workshops may
be co-sponsored by The Rolf Institute, I am not authorized to use the Rolf
InstituteÕs service mark, Rolfing¨, by participating in this program. I
further understand that this program does not teach Rolfing structural
integration, and that completion of this program does not entitle me to
practice Rolfing structural integration or to claim to be a Rolfing
practitioner or Rolfer.Ó This
in no way interferes with your right to practice the Ida P. Rolf method of
structural integration, Heller work¨, or other modality for which you may
be certified.
- Withdrawal / refund policy: Certification Program tuition is
refundable anytime until certification upon written notice of withdrawal
from program, less a) any training or tuition discounts already received,
and b) a $100 withdrawal fee.
- Misc. fees: re-issue
certificate, rush issue, returned check, or repeatedly denied credit card:
$20 each.
- While we make
every effort to maintain program consistency for enrolled participants,
requirements, discounts, fees, and conditions are subject to change.
